Golden River Natural Retreat was built by master wood builder, carpenter and mason Patrick Gayle and designed by Rosalie Sendelbach. Golden River is a Natural Retreat off the beaten path on a rugged road in an unpopulated mountain village. Each exquisite suite has ravishing mountain views with natural springs that run through the property. All the furniture was crafted by Patrick Gayle from local lumber. We offer a different experience for travelers to Jamaica in the bounty of a forest plentiful in Bamboo replenishing our aquifers. The beautiful mist rises in the early morning from the valley and dissolves into the green lush hills. You awaken to a sweet melodies of a multitude of birds which thrive in seclusion of a dense forest canopy. Each suite has the best of relaxed living in mind, with hardwood floors, and handmade wood furniture. Simple and elegant.
